Testing Webhooks

You can send test webhooks in Propexo to verify the shape and correct delivery and reception of webhooks for your implementation. While Propexo does not guarantee delivery times for webhooks, test webhooks are usually received within minutes.

How to Send a Test Webhook

1. Navigate to the Propexo web app
2. Click the Webhooks option in the sidebar
3. Select the webhook you want to test, or create a new one
4. Click the Actions button
5. Select Send test webhook

What Happens When You Send a Test

When you send a test webhook, Propexo will deliver a sample payload to your configured endpoint. This allows you to:

• Verify endpoint connectivity and ensure your server is reachable
• Validate payload structure and confirm your code correctly parses the webhook data
• Test error handling and see how your system responds to webhook deliveries
