REST API vs SOAP API

Propertyware offers two integration methods: a REST API and a SOAP API. The SOAP API is older and more feature-complete, whereas the REST API has fewer available endpoints but more active development. Propexo integrates the SOAP API to provide our customers with the broadest capabilities.

Properties vs Units

Since Propertyware is primarily (but not solely) a single family home management platform, there is typically (but not always) a 1:1 relationship between properties and units. However, there are some cases where a property may have multiple units, so it is important to understand the distinction between the two.

The most obvious difference you will see in the data is that Propertyware tends to have higher property model data volume than other PM systems. Whereas multi-family systems (like Entrata) tend to have a much higher unit to property count.
