# Yardi: Vendor Invoicing Interface Setup Guide

The Vendor Invoicing interface in Yardi requires vendor configuration, user setup, and property setup. This guide walks you through the full process step by step.

## 1. Vendor Setup

To configure a vendor for ILS/Guest Card:

1. From the side menu, go to **Interfaces > Configuration > Review Interface Vendors**.\
   ![interface-vendor](/_fern-img/04b076a1bc6389c24eeedcf1d4cecfe2ce43765397a765bedfc21bae9c729af3.webp)

2. Select **Vendor Invoicing** from the **Entity Type** drop-down list.\
   ![commonDropdown](/_fern-img/ba0ec5783a8c66cdccc5bad0a126d6bffe1f920c76c8ba40f0e8325e6d385f7b.webp)

3. Click **Submit**. A list of available vendors will appear in the side menu.\
   ![selectVendor](/_fern-img/4589d12963fedf3595c5644564e638a32efbfdb439bc5b2c8074618e60eb095b.webp)

4. Select a vendor. The **Vendor Invoicing configuration** page for that vendor will open.

**Configuration tip:**

* Use the **maximum settings** unless there is a specific reason not to. Some of these checkboxes may lead to missing data and are better left unchecked, such as “Ignore Vendor Property Security on Import”.

Example screenshot showing carefully selected permissions:\

Select the Import/Export Attachment types the vendor is to have access to in the resident record.

* For **Import/Export Attachment Types**, select **ALL** and click **Save**.

These items show in the list whether saved or not, so this step is easy to miss.

If properly saved, the items will appear **greyed out** (as shown in the example). If not greyed, you will run into issues.\
